Monday Bodcau and Brews Night Ride

Start Time: 6:00pm during summer months
Location: Bodcau Campgrounds, Bodcau Dam Road, Haughton, LA
Distance: 7.1 miles per lap
Description: Join us for a spirited lap of the Dirty Dam Race Loop! Ride at any pace you are comfortable with but expect the front group to be going nearly XC race pace. This is considered a “drop” ride so be prepared to be self-sufficient or make a plan to have someone stick with you prior to entering the trail.
Bring your favorite Brew and maybe an extra or two to trade

Wednesday Night UrbanS from the TAP

Start Time: 6:00pm SHARP
Distance: 21.5 Miles from the Seventh Tap Brewing Project on Linwood or the Eastbank location. Always check NWLA Cycling Slack for urban start locations.
The Urban Ride is a ride around Shreveport on knobby tire bikes (mountain bike or CX style). While the pace starts off conversational, it will typically increase to hard efforts in Spring Lake, on Preston Ave and on the bike path.

Description: Saturday group rides MTB rides will be announced during the week prior on NWLA Slack in the #xc-dirt-talk channel. New riders are always welcome. If you are new to the area or just visiting, please contact an officer directly to find out the route and location and pace of these rides. We typically ride one of the local trails, however, we do like to make fun day trips from time to time to nearby neighboring trails such as Lindsey Park in Tyler, TX, Lincoln Parish Park in Ruston, LA, or Iron Mountain in Arkadelphia, AR.
